| Abstract;Ultra-precision machining has entered a new phase called practical application that requires the addition of new functions to tools as well as highly rigid and highly precise machining. Currently, three machining technologies, ductile-mode-cutting, micro-machining and damage-free machining are drawing attention in the ultra-precision machining industry. In this paper, some considerations for applicable tools and the measures to solve problems are explained in relation to these machining technologies. (author abst.) |
