Abstract; In the sensor system of the 1 system, noncontactive absolute type displacement sensor detecting multiple targets using standing wave on a transmission line was proposed. The measurement principle of this sensor was explained, and the experiment was carried out by the trial manufacture of displacement sensor. For the scale of 4m, the displacement of multiple measuring targets was obtained from 0.2m within 3.6m. And, the resolution is 0.5mm and it corresponds to about 0.013% for 4 m scale-length. Moreover, the measurement principle of displacement sensor by standing wave was introduced, and measurement technique by the Fourier transformation was shown. The measurement principle was confirmed by the experiment.
