Abstract;In the bridge industry, in order to reduce construction costs, composite structures, which have the advantages of both steel and concrete, are being applied frequently. To correspond to these needs, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. developed a new style of composite structure bridge "Steel deck CFT girder bridge". This paper describes the features and some examples of adoption with actual bridges. (author abst.)
