Abstract; The disease type of allergic rhinitis is divided into sneeze and nasal secretion type ( type I ), rhinostenous type ( type II ), and combined type ( type III ) according to mediators. Since the allergic reaction at nasal mucosa in type I seems to be the histamine superiority, antihistaminic drug or chemical mediator antireleaser are used in the treatment. Since vasodilation or vascular hyperpermeability is occured in type II, mediators as a target for the treatment are leukotriene C4, D4 and thromboxane A2. In type III, the therapy is chosen according to the seriousness. Initial symptom of rhinallergosis is suppressed, when the drug is administered from 2 weeks before pollen scattering in spite of the disease type. As other therapeutic methods for pollinosis, there are antigen-specific immunotherapy and operative therapy.
