| Abstract;Though laser treatment for nasal allergy is symptomatic therapy, it is excellent in the cost effectiveness. The electrovaporization by carbon dioxide laser for moderate year-round allergy is more excellent in the cost effectiveness than drug therapy and hyposensitization treatment. Subepithelial inferior conchotomy by the KTP laser is effective for advanced nasal obstruction. In selective posterior nasal neurectomy, nasal secretion can be suppressed, while the lacrimal gland secretion was retained to some extent. The laser surgery can be performed easier with minimum invasion by introduction of hot knife such as the laser. |
