Abstract;The educational hospitalization was carried out for infant patients with bronchial asthma, and the self-management by the peak expiratory flow (PEF) introduction was tried. In the educational hospitalization, the following were performed. 1) PEF introduction and its practice, 2) the introduction of the asthma diary, 3) the drug administration guidance, 4) the guidance of the arrangement of life, 5) the education of principle and necessity of PEF. By the education guidance, patients and their family member were aware of the importance of the self-management and right self-management method. After educational hospitalization, overtime consultation and hospitalization days were decreased.
