Abstract;It is considered that the airway remodeling causes the chronic airway closure resistant to bronchodilator and steroid. It has been clarified that the remodeling is occurred in the childhood asthma. In the case in which the remodeling is generated even by steroid therapy, the possibility of serious obstruction is indicated. There is some the report that the remodeling was occurred before onset of the asthma. When FEV1/VC after the inhalation was made to be an index, it is indicated that the remodeling could not be perfectly suppressed by steroid inhalation.
