Abstract;Here was experimentally produced a 1.3.MU.m band optical amplifier using Raman amplification technique, to measure its in- and out-put properties and its wavelength property. And, by carrying out an evaluation on amplification of super-fast optical digital signals and low frequency optical analogue signals, its fast action based on 20 Gbit/s transmission and its non-strain amplification for low frequency signals could be confirmed.
