| Abstract;Nachi has been providing our customers with products, technology and service from the beginning processes (such as materials and heat treatment) to the completing processes (such as machining, assembly and maintenance) and has been making a step forward. It is essential in the future "manufacturing" that we understand the essence of materials, heat treatment technology and their new trends. The second session introduced the mechanism of quenching and tempering that are the bases of heat treatment. In the third session, we will explain mainly why the major problems such as deformation and crack can occur in the process of heat treatment and how we can reduce such problems. (author abst.) |
