| Abstract;Qualitative and quantitative analysese are carried out using analytical instruments on concerned materials of accidents and troubles in power generating facilities and power transmission facilities to assist to elucidate the causes and to devise countermeasures from the results. Main analytical instruments used are as following: Scanning electron microscope, plasma emission spectrometer, and X-ray microanalyzer. The analysese are carried out on water quality, corrosion, metal fatigue such as disconnection and rupture, and nontaminatin with foreign substances in water and lubricating oil and others. |
