Abstract; In order to clarify the difference of genetic diversity of main tree species in mangrove tree planting in the plantation group and the nearby natural forest group, the genetic diversity of the same species was compared by the RAPD method o DNA amplified with random primer. The result showed that genetic diversity was maintained even in the plantation group with the natural forest. On the other hand, the polymorphic composition of both groups showed a considerable difference. It was estimated with that the seeds of mangrove for tree planting provided from the nursing seedling center were collected from various gene groups.
