Abstract;The author outlined concept, epidemiology and crisis factor of epidermomycosis (ringworm, candidiasis, pityriasis versicolor). In the patients with atopic dermatitis, this differentiation is important so that steroid external use may induce ringworm and candidiasis in the lanugo division. From the viewpoint of the differentiation with the atopic dermatitis, the author described clinical manifestation of ringworm, candidiasis, and pityriasis versicolor, diagnostic method and treatment of epidermomycosis.
