Abstract;Expiration gas and expiration condensate are useful for grasp of disease state and evaluation of therapy effect in inflammatory air duct and lung disease. We described nitrogen monoxide, carbon monoxide, ethane as a marker in the expiration gas, and hydrogen peroxide, nitrite ion, nitrate ion, prostaglandins, leukotrienes, cytokine as a biomarker in the expiration condensate. We outlined the change of these markers in bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
