Abstract; To enable to carry out treatment of discharged medical wastes in each hospitals, here was developed an electric incinerator with features agreed with modern legal regulation. To suppress formation of dioxins it is essential to carry out perfect combustion, and to perfectly burn the wastes three items shown as follows were determined for essential conditions of experimentally produced incinerator; 1) high temperature in its furnace, 2) sufficient staying time of combustion gas, and 3) sufficient gas stirring in the furnace. As a result carrying out a combustion test using a model testing materials of the medical wastes in the developed electric incinerator, it was found that dioxins and the other harmful substances contained in the discharged gas could be passed their regulation values, and that its initial aim could be established.
