Abstract;Scrambling method with scalability for MPEG video is considered. Scalable scrambling is done by scrambling multiple times on MPEG bitstream. In order to perform scrambling on the same MPEG bitstream multiple times, the scrambling method must not destroy the MPEG bitstream structure. By combining multiple scrambling methods, generated MPEG bitstream will hold each feature of its method. Descrambling is done on each scrambling method by its order, and by selecting which level to be descrambled, the scalability is obtained. Simulation results are shown using different scrambling methods. (author abst.)
