| Abstract;In this paper, we propose an image quality improvement scheme by discarding coding pass for transmitting Motion JPEG 2000 code streams over RTP. RTP is a protocol used for audio and video streaming on the Internet and it enables low delay transmission. However, data in the packet is lost if the packet loss occurs. Motion JPEG 2000 code stream consists of sequence of JPEG 2000 coded images. Our proposed scheme exploits the structure of JPEG 2000 code stream. We show validity of the proposed scheme by the simulation using a still image. (author abst.) |
