| Abstract;The outline of the treatment guideline by Health and Labour Sciences Research for atopic dermatitis (AD) was described. AD has been defined as "it is the disease which makes the eczema with the itching which repeats aggravation and remission, and many patients have the atopic diathesis". Based on above disease concept, "Guideline 2002" has been composed of basic 3 items of diagnosis, evaluation of the cutaneous symptom, and treatment. Bases of the treatment are retrieval and countermeasure for cause and deterioration factor, correction of the skin dysfunction ( skin care ), and drug therapy. |
