Abstract;Advanced technologies on projectors and computers have been making passive stereoscopic projection system more attractive. However, it is not so popular because not so man contents are developed so far for the system. To supply more contents, easy synthesis of stereoscopic images is needed. In this paper, a synchronized rendering system is proposed on a passive stereoscopic projection system. The proposed system consists of two Linux or Window PCs, which send images to projectors, respectively. In order to synchronize the PCs for rendering and displaying images adaptively, they send/receive signals via LAN. The proposed system is implemented on C-SESP, Chuo University Shared Environment of Stereoscopic Pictures, and achieves adaptive frame rate based on PCs' performance. (author abst.)
