Abstract;The in-plane resistivity .RHO.ab of Bi2Sr2Ca1-xRxCu2O8+.DELTA. (R=Y, Pr) single crystals has been studied over a wide composition range of 0.LEQ.x<0.7. The .RHO.ab(T) behavior of Pr-doped samples is essentially different from that of Y-doped ones, and does not reveal the bad metallic transport like the other high-Tc cuprates. We discuss these results in terms of possible disorder due to the influence of chemical substitution. (author abst.)
