Abstract; In the quench approximation of the lattice gauge theory with the lattice size 103*20, the correlation functions of the meson are calculated with the overlap fermions at small masses 2.6-13 MeV. The pion Compton wavelength is larger than the lattice size, so that this region correspond to the .EPSILON.-regime of the chiral perturbation theory. Although the scalar and pseudo-scalar correlation functions are found to be well approximated by a few hundred low-lying fermion eigenmodes, higher eigenmodes contribute to the correlation function of the axial-vector meson. By comparing these computer simulation data with the one-loop expression for the correlation function in quenched chiral perturbation theory, the decay constant and the chiral condensate are evaluated.
