| Abstract; It is important to raise the reliability of the data from the clinical laboratory. From the discovery of the abnormal data to the countermeasures are introduced. 1) The type of abnormal data, 2) data check for abnormal data discovery, 3) points in the pursuit of cause of the failure in the equipment (tendency in abnormal data: single item or multiple items, commonness of analizing channel, appearance frequency, range of the abnormal value), 4) prevention of the failure (periodical check, periodical exchange of parts), 5) countermeasures to the failure (cleaning of causal site or exchange of parts), 6) examples of failures found from the data, 7) information for discovering the failure other than the data (equipment alarm, calibration alarm), and 8) the confirmation of absorbance in the reaction process (time course) (is the behavior different from other samples?), are described. |
