Abstract;A method of blood sampling and measuring for serotonin measurement was developed. The concentration of anticoagulant (EDTA2K2H2O) at the blood sampling was verified for 3 healthy subjects, and it was confirmed that comparatively stable values were obtained using 7.4mmol/l anticoagulant. As a measuring method, liquid chromatography adopting column switching and post label detection was constructed. In this method, the serotonin absorbed in the column is shifted and separated to analyzing column, and detected as a fluorescent derivative by benzylamine. As a result of measuring the serotonin value of ischemic blood plasma of hepatic artery patient using this method, the serotonin value tended to rise in the order of healthy subject, angina of effort, old myocardial infarction, and unstable angina. In the ratio of serotonin value in ischemic blood disease/serotonin value in the whole blood, the difference was larger, and it was suggested that this value reflects the disease state more clearly.
