| Abstract; The foreign bodies which are entrapped in the sample preparation and the countermeasures are explained, presenting various figures. A knife is a cause for the contamination by the cork of cutting plate, other organs and highly viscous tumor. The countermeasures are to use disposable knife, or to wipe the both faces after each use. There is also the contamination by the corn starch used for the glove as non-slip agent. Though the crystal of corn starch shows reddish purple color in PAS reaction and multiple refraction in the polarized light, in the case derived from a glove, a property unlike the above may be shown. Since a unique multiple refraction is shown, it is easy to distinguish. Injected contrast media may appear in the slice. It becomes a cause of a scalpel mark according to the type of contrast media. Products with fine particles should be used for imaging. There are some cases of contamination by the microorganism existing in the vat for washing, and it is necessary to prevent the fouling and mold of the vat. It is best to keep it in a dry condition, turning upside down in disuse. |
