Abstract;Portable-type or handy-type equipment is developed in addition to a conventional desktop type as a recent blood gas analyzer, and the measurement at point of care (POC) becomes possible. The equipment uses the semiconductor sensor and there are various combinations from the one in which a measurement division and the reagent are united in one cartridge to the one in which a measurement division and the reagent are in the separate cartridges. Also, there are various types on the sample measurement numbers from a type to dispose a cartridge for each sample to a type to dispose a cartridge for 20 to 100 samples in unit, however, it is the maintenance-free equipment which requires no membrane exchanges, etc. fundamentally. Such equipment is easy to be utilized as point-of-care testing (POCT) anytime and by anyone as a simply measurement, and it seems to be spread in future increasingly.
