Abstract; The object was focussed on the foetus for description in the echography in the obstetrics. The following were described as an abnormality on the placenta : Placenta praevia, abruptio placentae (I) and villus hemangioma. Today, most of placenta praevia is diagnosed by ultrasonic diagnosis, especially a ultrasonic wave vaginal route scanning method. The existence of the retroplacental hematoma is characteristic in I, however, the distinction between substance of the placenta on ultrasonic image and retroplacental hematoma is often difficult in initial stage of I crisis. The continuous observation of amniotic fluid quantity and the foetus cardiac function is necessary, when the villus hemangioma is discovered on the surface of the placenta. As an abnormality of amniotic fluid, hydramnion and oligoamnion were described. As an abnormality of the umbilical cord, single umbilical cord artery and umbilical cord winding were described. The image in which 1 umbilical vein and 2 umbilical arteries with different blood flow directions run together each other can be observed by a ultrasonic wave colored Doppler method.
