Abstract;The general maintenance of reaction cell (I) and experienced cases were taken up. The special machining is made inside surface of I and antibacterial agent is added in the constant temperature oven. The reaction tube cleaning is carried out automatically during the period of operation of analytical equipment and when it stopoed. And, it is soaked periodically in alkali detergent, and the plastic cell is exchanged, and the reaction tube in the glass cell is detached and washed. For confirmation of pollution level of I, the cell blank is measured. The cell over .+-.0.08Abs in individual cell difference is detached and cleaned or, is exchanged. The abnormality of I appears in the case in which there is the abnormality in any of the system of "A light source lamp .RAR.a heat ray absorption filter .RAR. reaction chambers .RAR.I.RAR.a detector". There are proteins or lipids and latex particle in the reagent component in the sample, etc. as a cause of I fouling. There is a case in which the "metallic soap" can be the obstinate fouling.
