Abstract; The dewatering operation should be considered first in the sample manufacturing process, when the small crack was generated in the tissue of the sample. The wrong usage of the molecular sieves (I) to be used as a desiccant may become the cause. The dealing was explained, while I was explained. At present, the I which supplements defect of various desiccants and is simple in the handling is used in the laboratory. The adsorption characteristics and types of I were described. The characteristics of I and the protein which is one of the human body constituents are greatly related on the cracking caused by I. And, the cautionary note in handling of I was also described. It is necessary to understand characteristics of I and points to be noticed in tissue fixation well in order to prevent the crack.
