| Abstract;Objective: We studied the relationship between xinnaotongluo liquid and hemorheology in patients with coronary heart disease. Design: A clinical study. Materials and Methods: 100 patients with coronary heart disease were screened according to the diagnostic standard of coronary heart disease and were divided into the test group and the control group by single-blind method, each group comprising 50 patients. Observation was made of ECG and hemorheology pre- and post-treatment. Results: The total effective rate on ECG was 70% in the test group and 56% in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05). The effect on hemorheology in the test group was more significant than that in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05). Conclusions: The xinnaotongluo liquid functions well on the patients with coronary heart disease via its effect on hemorheology.
