Abstract;This paper presents the titled equipment developed in the shield tunnel construction work of Metropolitan Expressway central loop line Shinjuku line. In the conventional muck haulage method, there are problems that muck is spilled in the relayed place of conveyors, and that the number of conveyors is needed to increase, etc.. In the developed method, this paper adopts a continuously extending belt conveyor system, and adopts a storage structure ( horizontal storage system ) capable of setting its belt storage vertically in the departure of shield and storaging the belt horizontally in the initial excavation stage when its excavation is advanced to some extent. As a result of applying this to an actual project, this paper can complete its initial excavation within the scheduled construction period ( three months ).
