| Abstract; This study presents initial research into the potentials of information design in building socially valuable a new research system, promoting participation and cooperation of researchers in various fields. The overall impacts of new technologies must be accurately identified at the very early stages of research and development. Design - the most fundamental interface between different fields - is key to the success of this goal, and should play an ever more significant part in its action. (author abst.) |
