Abstract; In this paper, we propose the communication supporting system with location-based information. Our system uses landmarks as social tags with which people can encounter and communicate to each other. Our system supports two types of landmark. One is public space such as a park, a building and a station. The other is the area where people meet to make communication. Users can register "Landmark-Tags" represented by latitude and longitude via their mobile phones with GPS. They can then use landmark tags that are registered by themselves and by other people.
