| Abstract;In this paper, we discuss the function of an information sharing system from the chronological viewpoint. In the artifact design process, the chronological change of designers' focal points is important information because it reflects their view of the problem structure. Designers' focal points are embedded in documents created during the design process. By detecting and tracking topics in the documents, we will be able to trace their focal points. We propose a user interface system to support users as they search for topic changes from design records. We also propose a design process management system based on topic changes. (author abst.) |
