| Abstract;This paper presents an introduction process of three-dimensional CAD to piping designs in SANKYU Co. and the utilization case. In order to avoid occurrence of delays in designs and construction or remodeling in fields because of occurrence of design changes by a trouble due to congestion of information, three-dimensional CAD was introduced as a piping design tool in 1998. This paper describes comparison between two-dimensional CAD and three-dimensional CAD, and it explains an outline of three-dimensional CAD "EYECAD" which SANKYU Co. adopted. In addition, an application example of a wastes treatment plant to piping design business is shown. |
