Abstract;Lipid rafts are membranous minute regions in cell membrane, and play important roles in various intracellular signal transducing systems. It has recently been clarified that the intracellular transport of lipid raft itself is involved in its functional regulation. Reconstruction of actin cytoskeleton is necessary for its intracellular transport. The functional regulation of lipid raft is considered to be tightly involved with its metabolism of controlling the actin cytoskeleton by Rho of a low-molecular weight G protein, RhoGAP of its regulator, and the cell membrane phospholipids such as PIP2 and PLC.
