| Abstract;A leg-wheel robot, which has mechanically separated four legs and two wheels, performs high mobility and stability on rough terrain. We have developed the leg-wheel robot called Chari Be that can carry people on its back on outdoor rough terrain. Since the robot is going to be used practically in public place, we need to take safety measures for people and objects such as buildings, vehicles, natural and so on. In this paper, We explain the characteristics of the robot and the safety measures implemented to it. We are going to demonstrate its motion in Aichi International Exposition. (author abst.) |
