| Abstract;A three-month-old cat showed clinicopathological findings of hepatic failure for one-and-a-half years following treatment for cystitis. Biopsy samples from the liver showed histological findings revealing mild chronic cholangiohepatitis. A significant improvement in the hepato-clinicopathological findings was observed with steroid treatment. The cat died from severe renal failure due to glomerulonephritis at three years and nine months of age. The significance of the biopsy in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease was discussed.
