| Abstract;In the framework of the brane model, fractional space-like branes (instanton-like objects) are constructed. These describe the branes on a spacetime with a space-like singularity. These objects are localized at a fixed point on an orbifold, and represent some physics of cosmological singularities. As the world sheet descriptions of fractional space-like branes, the closed string formulation by boundary states, the open string formulations by adsorption method and fermionization method are given. |
