| Abstract;In this study, we investigated the effectiveness of a spray for relieving thirst in heart failure patients induced by fluid restriction. The spray has a pleasant taste and also a sialagogic effect. Compared to the more conventional method of using ice, use of the spray is effective for relieving thirst induced by fluid restriction in heart failure patients. (author abst.) |
