Abstract;A 68-year-old-woman visited our hospital because of seborrheic dermatitis. She had an 8-month history of facial erythema with exfoliation. Before visiting our hospital she was treated with topical corticosteroid, but it was not effective. She was treated with anti-fungal and anti-allergic drugs unsuccessfully, and was therefore treated with 0.03% tacrolimus ointment after informed consent. About 6 months later, the facial erythema had disappeared almost completely. We consider that tacrolimus ointment is effective and safe for seborrheic dermatitis. (author abst.)
