Abstract;Cancer pain is often caused by tumors and medical care that is given to treat cancer. Nociceptive pain and neuropathic pain are often studied differently in the analysis of cancer pain. Tumor invasion to soft tissue, skin, and bone provokes progressive nociceptive pain which can be alleviated by surgical extraction of tumors, irradiation, and chemotherapy. Neuropathic pain of cancer is caused by invasion of and pressure to nerve, ganglion, and nerve root, or by the indirect influence of cancer on the peripheral nerve.
