| Abstract;Different mechanisms are known to participate in cancer pain. The pressure from tumors against nerve and blood vessels, invasion of internal organs, involvement of the sympathetic nerve, and nociceptive pain are some of them. NSAIDs are effective to nociceptive pain. They improve the quality of its pain-relieving effects when prescribed with opioids to patients in stage 2 or later. Appropriate use of NSAIDs requires sufficient understanding of their action mechanisms, applicable diseases, and side-effects. |
