| Abstract;Durotep patch is widely used and occupies an important place in treatment of cancer pain in Japan. It has less side-effects often found in opioids, and has benefits no found in opioids. Durotep patch has prolonged action against intense pain suffered by cancer patients. Pain in patients under its use can become less controllable during titration, so the addition of rescue dose is very important. It is not recommende to patients whose pain frequently fluctuates as the patch acts for long time. |
