Abstract;A case with the above-mentioned disease in a 74-year-old woman was reported. After influenza HA vaccination, erythema nodosum-like eruption appeared on the femoral region, the lower limbs, and the left eyelids, besides the vaccinated site, in addition to fever, pharyngeal pain, and knee joint pain. As the result of skin biopsy, the infiltration of inflammatory cells into the interlobular connective tissue of the fat layer was recognized from the vaccinated site and other eruptions. It was supposed to be a similar reaction as erythema nodosum. The side effects by influenza HA vaccination have been very few in the dermatology area, and the safety is supposed to be high. Until now there has been no report that erythema nodosum or erythema nodosum-like eruption appeared by taking advantage of the vaccination.
