| Abstract;By revising the Building Standards Law of Japan at 2000 fire safety performances of buildings are clarified and some verification methods are introduced. Fire safety of buildings should be achieved not only at design stage but also at occupied stage. It is very important to evaluate the maintenance status of fire safety measures installed. The purpose of this study is to develop a framework for advanced fire safety design/evaluation of buildings. Codes and standards on fire risk evaluation in the world are surveyed. And the inquiry about the image of fire risk for fire safety engineer and researchers are done and discussed at the workshop. (author abst.) |
