| Abstract;In the Mid Niigata Prefecture Earthquake, 2004, slope failures and landslides occurred frequently and there were many damages of foundations and building sites resulting from the ground condition. A lot of foundation damage by liquefaction occurred not only in the area along the shore but also residential areas which had buried the old river channel. This study deals with the damage of building site and foundations in Kariha. Through the field tests, the relation between the ground water level and the degree of damage by liquefaction and so on were made clear. (author abst.) |
