| Abstract;The monospecific liverwort genus Cephalojonesia (Cephaloziellaceae), known from a few localities in Central Africa, is newly reported from Mexico. Based on characters of the female involucre the Mexican material is described as a new subspecies, C. incuba subsp. mexicana Burghardt, Gradst. & Vana. The new subspecies is illustrated and discussed, and an updated key to the genera of Cephaloziellaceae of tropical America is provided. (author abst.) |
