| Abstract;A Roadscape Analysis System was developed that can analyze images captured by a camera mounted on a vehicle. The system divides images into cells, calculates five features of each cell, and distinguishes between "town," "forest," and "plain" automatically. This system can judge a road landscape image to be "Town," "Forest," or "Plain" with more than 75% accuracy. (author abst.) |
