Abstract; The wind power generation has been grown steadily in the world and the offshore wind energy becomes more important part in Europe than in other region. In Japan, the floating wind turbines are thought to be reasonable because of Japanese geometrical property, the deep sea and the steep sea bed. In this paper the wind-farm with 20 floating structures and 40 * 5MW class wind turbines is proposed. The economic analysis and the social effect evaluation of this floating wind energy system are shown and the future possibility is discussed. (author abst.)
