Abstract;Thoracic nerve root block is to eliminate and reduce symptoms by injecting the mixture of steroid and local anesthetic to the nerve root of spinal nerves coming out of spinal canal. A therapeutic effect can be obtained by injecting the mixture of local anesthetic and soluble steroid after imaging. The block is effective for patients with pain in thoracoabdominal and dorsal parts and from nerve root. Radio frequency thermal coagulation and pulsed Radiofrequency can be applied to the patients. The block should be carried out with respiratory care and circulatory management. Patients are required a few hours rest in a bed after the block.
