| Abstract;The 2005 West-off Fukuoka Prefecture Earthquake (Mjma 7.0). occurred on 20 March 2005. Stress concentration possibly occurs around the deeper part of the seismogenic region around the southwestern end of the aftershock distribution. We, however, do not know whether a next large earthquake is impending. Thus, it is necessary to prepare a possible large earthquake in the extension of the earthquake fault. (author abst.) |
